Ahoy there, kids. Lo, it is I, come unto you one last time.

The moment of truth has arrived. After a good 7 years of thinking about
it, plus a few times when I came *this* close to actually doing it, the
moment has finally arrived. I hereby officially announce my intent to
get rid of my ENTIRE collection, beginning right now.

The exact reasons aren't important. Suffice to say that things change,
and so do people. After over 25 years of collecting model kits,
magazines, and other fannish ephemera, I am ready to move on. It's time
that all these things I have accumulated go to better, more appreciative
homes than I am willing to provide. And we are talking a LOT of things
here.

First, we have what I estimate to be well over a thousand model kits of
various genres, both loose and boxed. Then, several hundred modeling-
and anime-related magazines, plus a couple hundred more genre-related
magazines and books of various types. Add to that a healthy dose of toys
and related collectibles and you have, literally, a bill of sale which
is too huge and varied to list right now.

That said, I will employ this thread over the coming weeks and months to
list various items as they become available. It will start off slow, but
expect it to pick up steam very quickly. As noted, EVERYTHING must go
before this sale is through.

As of 12/14/06, I have placed two model kits for auction on eBay:

The SD Gundam/BB-Senshi DX VERSAL KNIGHT GUNDAM;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330063271978&ssPa
geName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=014SD

and the /72 RX-78 GUNDAM MECHANIC MODEL;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330063283637&ssPa
geName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=014

both of them hard-to-find boxed plastic model kits by Bandai. You might
wish to check them out. They are only a hint of the tsunami of mecha and
other assorted plastic that will be announced here in the the next few
weeks.

To give you some idea of what I am preparing to sell, I have also posted
a list detailing some of the items I've acquired over the years. I must
emphasize first off that this is NOT by any means a finished document.
Many item descriptions are still missing. Most of my boxed kits haven't
even been listed yet. Entire series have yet to be added. It doesn't
even touch the huge number of magazines, books, and miscellany that will
be sold alongside the plastic. Still, if you'd like to get some idea of
what I've got for sale, you can view the current checklist at the
following link

http://home.earthlink.net/~superwombat/gundam/StuffListRuf121406.html

Finally, to give you an even better idea of what's to come, below are
links to some photos that show a good many of my boxed kits as they
currently sit. Again, ALL this stuff has to go:

Honestly, I'd rather deal with eBay as little as possible, so I would
welcome inquiries and offers on any of these items. Do be aware that I
intend to sell most, if not all, of my loose series items as lots only,
and some of the boxed series as well... but I am motivated to move this
collection out as quickly as possible, so I am willing to entertain
reasonable offers.

That's all for now. There will be much more. Please feel free to leave
questions and inquiries in this thread, and thanks for looking.

Here's to a brighter future.

Long time, no post.

Would be interested in any or all large scale Xabungle kits, (Not
Caprico, though)
Macross Monter and Defendert & other large scale walkers
Contact off list at rdecATripnetDOTcom with prices. Shipping would be
to Canada which you might not want to do. I'll probably lookm at the
prices, ruin some underware and give up,.on the idea but it's wort a
shot.

I'm just getting started. I may be interested in some of your Gundam kits.
Could you shoot me a price for some unassembled/partially assembled kits.
I would be most interested in Zeon stuff (Gouf, Zaku, Dom). I know you
have a ton of stuff, so maybe bundle price for several models.
